Administers all therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical modalities under the purview of Respiratory Care Services, for which the Therapist II has demonstrated appropriate proficiency, and has been documented as competent to perform these procedures. All of the criteria-based duties within this document will be performed according to established policies, procedures and guidelines within the department and the hospital. Responsibility for the delivery of Respiratory Care to patients of all age groups, to include all therapeutic treatments, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas draws and analysis, ventilator management, and airway management to include intubation.
Salary based upon experience and internal equity .$5,000 sign-on and $2,500 relocation allowance if more than 50 miles from Lee Health 1-2 years exp. required
Education: Two years of formal education or training beyond high school or Associate Degree required
Experience: Minimum 1 year adult critical care required Training: BLS, System and unit based orientation.
Licensure: Licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance
