Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Decision Support Analyst, Senior Care Delivery Efficiency and Effectiveness \(Full Time, Day Shift\) to work in Clinical Transformation at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Decision Support Analyst, Senior CDEE is responsible for organizing and managing financial related projects associated with the Care Management Initiative \(CM\)\. He or she will work with CM improvement staff, managers, directors, and physicians for CM teams working on reduction of length of stay and improvement of quality throughout the Medical Center\.
In this position you will:
Provide technical expertise in use of Decision Support tools and other databases to evaluate operational and financial performance\.
Perform complex system and operations analyses and make recommendations for improvements\.
Create and monitor operational, financial, and clinical benchmarking tools for identified targets\.
Work closely with internal consultants to determine data needs and provide assessment regarding provision of data given need\.
Develop and implement tools to financially measure an implementation idea contrasted to current performance in order to determine value for implementing CM implementation plans\.
Lead team projects in collaboration with physicians, clinical management, and support staff\.
Maintain documentation for analysis, data retrieval, and troubleshooting activities\.
Required qualifications for this position include
Bachelor's degree in health administration, finance, accounting or equivalent\.
3 years experience in a healthcare financial management or analysis\. Preferred qualifications:
CPA/CMA or advanced business degree\.
Acute care experience\.
