Providence is calling a Warehouse Assistant (Pharmacy Infusion, Day Shift, 1.0FTE) to Providence Infusion & Pharmacy Services in Spokane, Washington. Position Details: This is a full-time position with benefits. Monday through Friday, currently 9am to 5:30pm. Occasional weekends or flexibility as necessary.
In this position you will:
Pick, verify and pack patient supply orders.
Utilize courier and common carriers to ship patient orders.
Utilize appropriate proof of delivery concept and confirm delivery of patient orders.
Troubleshoot shipping and patient delivery issues.
Assess stock levels, understand minimum/maximum levels of the warehouse, rotate stock, perform outdate checks and report inventory needs to supervisor.
Stock supplies on shelves, stock quick pick areas, keep freezers full of ice, build and keep available shipping coolers at all times.
Perform general warehouse maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep.
Receive inventory and put away stock.
Assist in cleaning and/or laundering, quality assurance and maintenance of infusion bags/backpacks, infusion pumps, IV poles and ancillary infusion equipment.
Work in a face-paced medical environment with a multi-disciplinary care team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, registered nurses, dietitians and a variety of administrative support staff.
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License
Preferredqualifications for this position include:
General warehouse, shipping and receiving, and medical supply knowledge
Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
Understanding of medical terminology
Inventory management of medical supplies
