The Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) Program provides supportive counseling services to individuals experiencing emotional distress or crisis within in a safe, home-like environment, rather than a hospital setting. Services include outreach to assess appropriateness for placement, onsite and offsite counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication prescription, linkage and referral to appropriate community resources, peer counseling and WRAP planning.
Job Summary: Plan, Direct, and supervise EISS (Early Intervention & Support Services) program services in conjunction with and as assigned by the Program Director and in accordance with agency, funding source and licensing standards and expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Train, supervise and evaluate assigned EISS staff. Acts as point person for EISS in the absence of the Program Director.
Coordinates, evaluate and monitor EISS services and programming conducted by assigned staff.
Provide liaison services between EISS and other programs such as Screening, Mobile Outreach, Law Enforcement, community-based services, and internal customers
Conduct assigned weekly staff meetings.
Act as EISS representative to Quality Improvement committee.
Ensure that EISS documentation is in compliance with regulatory groups, is accurate.
Fill in for Program Director in her absence
Other Duties as assigned.
Position is Tuesday to Saturday 8AM to 4PM
Location: Hamilton, NJ
Hours: 40-hrs a week
Salary: Upto $70K yearly with excellent benefit package.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or a related field
Clinical License required in the state of NJ (LCSW or LPC)
Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in working with seriously mentally ill adults
Two years supervisory or management experience required
