Chandler Hall is seeking a Director of Nursing for our Medicare/Medicaid certified Friends Nursing Home which provides short term rehabilitation as well as long term living for 53 residents. The candidate should embrace and support resident centered care and values based culture.
In addition to the requirements listed below, the ideal candidate must have an open communication style and be able to engage staff, residents and families. Job functions include maintaining quality of care standards which meet/exceed Chandler Hall and regulatory expectations, partnering with the Interdisciplinary team to achieve goals and outcomes, partnering with the Medical Director to assure clinical excellence, partnering with NHA to prepare annual budget, develop and oversee policies and procedures, maintaining and overseeing data for quality, compliance and risk management.

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Valid State Licensure as an RN
Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare required, Masters degree preferred
Must hold and maintain current CPR Certification
3-5 years experience as a Director of Nursing in long term care or supervisory experience in long term or acute care.
Experience supervising nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively responsible
Experience with and commitment to electronic health records
Proficient use of a personal computer including MS OfficMust have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families and other employees at all levels.
