Cerner Health Connections, Inc. (CHC), a subsidiary of Cerner Corporation, is a national company specializing in development, staffing, and management of corporate-sponsored on-site health centers, on-site pharmacies, and wellness and condition management programs. CHC currently operates over 40 health centers throughout the United States utilizingCerner's software solutions to manage patient information and health records, as well as to measure, monitor, and improve care delivery.CHC services combine the strength of Cerner's 30+ years of technology innovation and knowledge working with healthcare providers around the world. The Regional Operations Manager assists in the implementation and oversight of the operations of the company by managing 6-8 health centers and conducting strategic meetings with client representatives. Specifically, this role is responsible for client satisfaction, profit and loss of health center operations, and the management of health center staff. In addition, this role serves as a member of the Operations Leadership Team charged with optimizing Cerner's HealthCare's operational policies and processes. Other duties include supporting all health center recruitment, implementation, training, and on-going management, as well as overseeing on-site wellness activities and managing the health of our client populations. Essential functions include but not limited to:
Oversight of day-to-day operations for several health centers, including clinical policies and procedures, patient and work flow processes, quality assurance, medical records, etc.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with accounts to ensure client satisfaction and revenue retention
Significant experience with client relations, particularly senior managers
Advanced communication skills with practitioners, clients and employees
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage clinicians
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or Nursing
Minimum of three years of experience managing three or more ambulatory care facilities (primary care, urgent care and/or occupational medicine)
Ability to travel 60% or greater to multi-state regional assigned area
Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area
Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Nursing
