At the National Institutes of Health, the Clinical Center (CC) is the nation’s largest hospital devoted entirely and exclusively to clinical research, with a staff of approximately 1,870 and an annual budget of approximately $464 million.
The CC is seeking superior candidates for the challenging position of Chief Operating Officer. The COO is critical to the CC’s mission as this position provides interdisciplinary leadership in clinical, scientific, and administrative forums over all CC hospital functions. This position offers an unique and exciting opportunity, and reports directly to the CC Chief Executive Officer and senior staff on all CC’s operational issues.
