BayCare is a leading not-for-profit health care system that has been growing rapidly; connecting individuals and families to a wide range of services at 14 hospitals and hundreds of other convenient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and central Florida regions. BayCare Health System is maintaining a continued focus on the growth and transformation of ambulatory services, specifically that of Home Health.
The Vice President, HomeCare Experience and Operations is responsible for the formulation of objectives, as well as the oversight and management of assigned departments to achieve those objectives. He/she will be primarily be responsible for Home Health Division and Medical Supplies Division. Additionally, he/she will oversee A Place for Her (retail post-mastectomy products), CareLink personal emergency response and medicine management systems, and interactive video telemonitoring for home bound patients. This person will be accountable for ensuring the departments fulfill their strategic role within the overall vision and strategy of BayCare Health System. As a member of the executive team, he/she shares in the formulation of the vision, strategy, goals and policy for BayCare HomeCare Services.
The VP, HomeCare Experience and Operations will be an proven health system leader, experienced in leading and implementing innovative quality, safety, and performance improvement initiates to achieve superior clinical quality and favorable financial outcomes with high satisfaction levels for patients and staff. In addition, the VP will have demonstrated success in working collaboratively with physicians and other senior executives.
A minimum of 10 years experience in a hospital leadership capacity, approaching the breadth and depth of management complexity is required at BayCare. Industry experience should include at least 5 years in a health system or multi-disciplinary, multi-site healthcare operation. A Masters degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is required.
