Lasell Village is seeking a Home Care Division Manager position to develop and manage our new Home Care Division. This position requires strong decision-making, supervisory, and communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. The position is one that will allow Lasell Village to expand its home care services with a dedicated division to serve current Lasell Village residents, and build the program to serve residents in the surrounding cities and towns.
The right candidate will be someone who has great compassion for seniors and their families, and is able to recruit and retain a caring and responsible staff of certified nursing assistants. The Lasell Village Home Care Division manager will report to the Director of Wellness, and work closely with clinical staff in our Wellness Center, Lasell House (skilled nursing facility), and Supported Living Unit. The Home Care Division Manager will be an integral member of the Lasell Village management team
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, business development, client services coordination, staffing and workforce planning, and community partnerships. The Home Care Manager must possess exceptional customer service skills, and be positive and compassionate.
Manage the business growth and development of this new division, including setting and achieving budgets, marketing home care services, developing relationships with Lasell Village residents and their families, and quickly building a robust program to meet Village resident needs.
Continually assess the quality of care; set and achieve quality and customer satisfaction goals.
Recruit ,train and retain staff to build a cohesive, caring team. Monitor and supervise staff performance, setting expectations, coaching and training.
Maintain client scheduling and caregiver assignments and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts or emergencies occur.
Market our services through social and marketing events, meetings with current and potential residents and attend outside events to build and maintain networks.
Maintain ongoing communication and a consistent follow-up with potential clients and families who have yet to commit to our service.
Keep abreast of cognitive and physical concerns and needs that seniors face and as well as developments in the senior care industry.
Establish good working relationships with office colleagues, residents and the community.
Excellent problem solving skills to handle resident and employee issues.
The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Social Services, or related field of study preferred.
Experience working with seniors. Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairment and their families, a plus.
3 – 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in Home Health, or a Healthcare setting.
Minimum of 2 years of business development experience.
Strong computer skills.
Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, problem solving, customer service, adaptability, and communication.
