Established in 1974, Friendship Village of Schaumburg is one of the area’s leading Continuing Care Retirement Communities. Located in the suburbs of Chicago, it offers seniors a complete range of living options and healthcare services for a secure and comfortable future.
Friendship Village was the first Continuing Care Retirement Community in Illinois to be accredited by the Commission on Accre...ditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)/Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC). That same year, the Board of Directors approved the development of an assisted living program — the first to be created in a Chicago-area Continuing Care Retirement Community. More recently, Friendship Village's healthcare facility received a 5-star rating from Medicare.
