The University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks an accomplished clinician leader with proven experience in a dynamic, comprehensive health setting to serve as its next Executive Director of University Health Services (UHS). The ED serves as the chief health officer for the campus and provides innovative patient- and population-focused leadership and vision on student and public health-related issues.

S/he will be an ambassador across the Madison campus and an advocate for a continuing commitment to high standards and expectations for community and population health. The ED will ensure that the excellent staff of UHS has the management and support required to keep the University of Wisconsin-Madison at the forefront of college health.
The ED is responsible for stewardship of UHS’ annual budget of approximately $18 million to provide medical, mental health, environmental and occupational health, and prevention health programs and services to a university community of more than 41,000 undergraduate and graduate students and 16,000 faculty and staff.
