The Position: Reporting to the Chair, Department of Neurology, the pediatric neurologist will join an active Neurology Department and be responsible for advancing pediatric services. The Department currently holds a pediatric neurology clinic and participates in the Neurology Residency Program, which has rotations at Children’s National Medical Center.
The Candidate: The successful applicant will be expected to have the ability to build outpatient, inpatient and consultative clinical services. In addition, the candidate will have a strong commitment to the education and mentorship of students, residents and faculty.
The selected candidate will:
Have an MD from an accredited institution;
Be able to obtain an unrestricted District of Columbia (DC) medical license;
Certification in Neurology;
Three or more years of experience working in academic settings;
