Arbor Centers for EyeCare is looking for a bright, energetic, professional team member to help lead our fast-paced practice.
The Clinical Director will be responsible for:
the oversight and support of all clinical staff as well as supervision of all patient care processes
assisting to develop practice policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook and practice policy manual
leading and managing the technician managers, surgical scheduling manager, research coordinator and optician
implementing programs to optimize clinic operations and profit
recruiting, training and performance improvement of clinical employees
complete and accurate patient work ups when serving as a technician

The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, skills in motivating and training professional staff and a minimum of five years of experience in the management of clinical operations in an ophthalmology practice. In addition, the candidate must be organized, attentive to detail, able to multi-task and a self-starter. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and ability to work closely with a diverse patient/employee and doctor population.
Experience required includes:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 10 years of related experience in ophthalmology
Five years of experience in the management of clinical operations in an ophthalmology practice
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Certified Ophthalmic Technician or beyond
Experience with ophthalmic electronic medical records
Basic computer skills that include a combination of experience in a Windows Operating System, email and data entry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
