Training & Certification - Maintains in-depth knowledge and current certification in security related areas of information technology.
Teamwork - Fulfills role as core member of IM team; adheres to all policies and procedures, especially those relating to Change Control, Problem Management, and Project Management; provides input to improve processes to ensure highest levels of service and availability of systems. Demonstrates competence to perform assigned responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of the members served by the department.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, or relevant experience (4 years).
Basic technical knowledge of systems, databases, networks, operating systems and Information Management "Best Practices".
3 to 5 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments.
Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
Knowledge of PCI compliance
Experience with vulnerability management and configuration compliance software
A minimum of two years of information security experience with a wide variety of Information Management applications and technologies is required.
Prior experience in a health care systems environment is a definite plus.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Preferred: CISSP or CCNA
