This position will be responsible for the identification, creation and up keep of the training and development tools deployed by ACRP for our membership and other interested parties including employers. The role will involve managing subject matter experts to identify and develop content, vendors to package the content based on adult learning principles and ensure the courses stay up to date.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the ongoing operations of the program, manage projects, vendor and subject matter experts. • Provide input to the design and delivery of training programs, serve as project manager the development and delivery of e-learning, classroom and conference education programs. • Support cross-functional activities, e.g., business development, marketing, Workforce Innovation and finance. • Maintain the currency and standards of the program’s portfolio of products through ongoing reviews of content, industry demand and future trends in education and meetings. • Develop and implement new learning offerings for professional development for all clinical research staff, including live offerings, online and self-study. • Maintain ACRPs accreditation with ACCME, CBRN, IACET to ensure ongoing ability to offer CMEs and other CEUs. • Responsible for managing vendors to maintain and further develop the electronic systems necessary for professional development (i.e. LMS) and ensure projects are managed to timely completion • Other responsibilities as defined by the Senior Director, Operations.
Committees: • Act as staff liaison to the Training and Development Committee and the Content Advisory Board (ACRP annual conference). • Actively participate in all Editorial Advisory Board meetings
Cross-Functional Team Responsibilities: • Contribute ideas and work with other staff/programs to improve the value proposition of ACRP across all aspects of the Association.
Education and Experience: • Experience in clinical research operations – five years. • Project management experience. • Experience in education or adult learning. • Minimum of Bachelors Degree
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Professional and articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills • Requires the ability to strategize with and interact with clinical research professionals (including physicians) • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access), Outlook, and internet applications; ability to rapidly learn new software products • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment • Effective time management and prioritization skills to follow assignments through to completion, with a results-based focus • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail • Work as part of a team with the ability to motivate others

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting. The noise level in the work area is usually moderate. Employee interacts with staff, has heavy member contact (phone and email), and consults with outside organizations and vendors. May be subjected to interruptions throughout the workday. Must be able to work some flexible hours, including weekends. Travel is required.
