Key Job Duties:
Supports the mission, vision, and core values of Fleet Landing.
Creates and coordinates comprehensive programming, inclusive of the six dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and vocational.
Ensures excellence of culinary services by overseeing all aspects of multi-venue food service, fine dining, event planning/execution and catering operations.
Oversees and provides visionary, compassionate leadership for the Dining, Culinary, Wellness, Fitness and Transportation Services Departments.
Participates daily with Fleet Landing Residents during programs, activities, dining or events to determine likes and dislikes, as well as program, service and food quality.
Oversees the research, planning and execution of Resident events and programs.
Ensures viable, outcome-based age-appropriate fitness/classes addressing age-related health issues.
Oversees the design of fitness programming appropriate and suitable across the continuum of care.
Manages and adheres to budget for all departmental areas of responsibility in a fiscally sound manner.
Publishes a variety of Communications pieces, such as but not limited to the monthly calendar of Resident events, annual Dining Services Calendar, weekly updates
Chairs interactive and progressive Dining Services and Wellness Committees comprised of Staff and Resident members.
Engages and oversees the business relationship of outside Contractors such as chaplains, entertainers, fitness experts, lecturers, Ensures that departmental policies/procedures are followed.
Assists in developing, providing, and utilizing various forms of communication with Residents, staff and the community, which can include: newsletters, calendar of events, menus, apps, cctv, weekly updates, flyers, or special event announcements.
Exhibits positive and engaging customer service to both internal and external customers; ensures Resident and Staff satisfaction survey metrics are achieved.
Assists in enriching Resident life by providing opportunities for creativity, self-expressions, self-satisfaction, fun, and self-fulfillment.
Maintains a working knowledge of and ensures compliance with all environmental, federal, state, and local governmental rules and regulations.
Assists in developing positive relationships on behalf of Fleet Landing with government regulators, Residents, families, visitors, and the community at large.
Shows integrity and ethical behavior, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of Fleet Landing.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field.
Minimum of 5-7years of experience managing Wellness Programs, Event Planning and Food & Beverage in a similar environment. Previous Senior Living experience required, as well as a passion for serving Residents and Staff. Proven ability to function and excel in team environment; must have excellent written and verbal management skills and ability to coach/mentor staff.
