In this role, the Sales Manger, Assisted Living will:
Oversee improvement and continuous quality around assisted living sales process, delivery, metrics and performance outcomes within the CRC enterprise.
In collaboration with CRC campus leadership assist with on-boarding, hiring, coaching, performance monitoring, of designated assisted living sales specialist on a regular basis.
Under the direction of leadership and in collaboration with CRC campus key stakeholders assists with design, implementation and sustainability of census development plans; assists with development of marketing budgets in collaboration with Central Office marketing leadership.
Works toward continuous improvement around meeting or exceeding budgeted financial indicators and the sales activity expectations and benchmarks established per location and enterprise wide.
Recommends enhancements to existing services to increase marketing effectiveness and to respond to the changing market demands.
In collaboration with CRC location leadership and stakeholders to review and conduct market analysis’s.
Train and create sustainability plans for new designated assisted living sales specialists to ensure access and use of CRC approved CRM software.
Monitor the adherence to the established system and protocols; analyze daily and reports monthly on key performance indicators to Director.
Ensure that Fair Housing standards and CRC systems related to Fair Housing are in place and consistently being met.
Advise Director of problems and the need for changes in sales and marketing policies and procedures related to assisted living product line.
Works in a collaborative approach between all services lines and disciplines, both in the central office and at the campus-level.
The ideal candidate will have:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience and education required.
Five years of professional experience, preferably in sales, senior living sales and marketing, or real estate. Of the 5 years, it is preferable that 2 of the years be in assisted living sales and or marketing.
Ability to travel to CRC communities approximatly 75% of time.
Sales ability, good communication and written skills, good organization and time-management skills, knowledge of senior care, ability to work independently and with others, and credibility, maturity and enthusiasm.
Ability to relate to the public in a pleasant and professional manner.
Tact and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English), and be able to communicate effectively with staff, residents and others with whom this position may have contact.
Self-motivation and creative, possessing a high degree of interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to the public in a pleasant and professional manner.
Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of the assisted living lifestyle is necessary. Preference will be given to those candidates with industry experience.
Comfort working in and representing a Covenant Retirement Community, faith-based senior living community.
Ability to represent the values of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Preference given to candidates who are located within the Midwest, preferably states of Minnesota, Illinois, or Wisconsin, with the ability to telecommute or work from CRC central office or designated CRC campus.
