UPMC Pinnacle— a growing, multisite health care system — has an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician at the PinnacleHealth Bone and Joint Institute. We are seeking a highly motivated physician to be the Medical Director and provider for our Bone and Joint Center as well as the Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program. The qualified candidate will be fellowship trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine and have at least 5 years of experience post fellowship. This position will provide clinical care for patients at our three offices. This individual will oversee all clinical aspects of the Bone and Joint Center and direct referrals to internal and external sources as indicated. The candidate will also provide leadership and guidance in continuing and developing new relationships with local high schools, colleges, professional, and recreational organizations. This will include providing services to several local schools for pre-participation physicals and football game coverage. The candidate will be involved developing programs to enhance community involvement as well. There will be on call duties for the Bone and Joint Center associated with this position.
Board certified/Board eligible in Family Practice and Sports Medicine
Five or more years of primary care sports medicine experience preferred
