About Victory Housing, Inc.
Victory Housing has developed and currently operates six (6) affordable assisted living residences (total of 201 units) for senior citizens in Maryland. Approximately two-thirds of the residents in the assisted living residences have annual incomes of 60% of area median income or less. Their average age is 88. Each residence provides three daily meals, assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing, laundry and housekeeping services, planned social and recreational activities, and staff coverage at night. Monthly fees vary according to the incomes of the residents. These residences enable individuals to remain in the community in a home-like setting at an average cost of less than one-half that of a nursing home.
Victory Housing's operations staff includes over 180 full- and part-time workers. A cafeteria style Health/Dental/Vision insurance plan is available to all full time employees, with a paid life insurance policy and option to purchase additional employee paid insurance. All part time and full time employees are eligible to participate in the 403b Retirement Savings Plan. Victory matches 100% up to a 4% maximum of employee contributions.
