Performs duties required of a medical technologist and gives both technical and operational support to the laboratory. Acts as a liaison between the laboratory and internal and external customers.
Knowledge and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a medical, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory/medical technology science with at least one year's experience with high complexity testing or associate's degree in a laboratory science with three years' experience with high complexity testing.
Years of Experience: Must be able to interact professionally with staff, physicians and patients. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must have good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a stressful environment.
