ODCHC Dental uses the Dentrix Enterprise EDR system and has teleconference and telehealth capacity in all sites. DENTAL SERVICES PROVIDED: Our dentists provide a full spectrum of dental care: preventive care, education, restorative care, root canals, fillings, extractions, pain management, diagnosis and treatment of gum and oral disease, bridges and dentures. The clinic offers case management to assure children and at risk adults maintain treatment plans and dental care. Burre Dental Center has tele-dentistry available for consultations. Burre Dental Center is an integral part of ODCHC and coordinates care as needed. SPECIALTY SERVICES AVAILABLE: Referral and follow up for necessary specialty assessment, diagnosis, consult and treatment available through local, regional and urban medical centers (UC San Francisco, UC Davis, Stanford, USC) and tele-dentistry. Clinic provides care to all ages, regardless of ability to pay or insurance coverage.
BURRE DENTAL CENTER: immediate ppening - This is the ODCHC primary dental clinic. It is located in Eureka, California, and serves the most populous area of Humboldt County. It is the only safety-net dental provider in the county and serves the diverse population of the area. This very busy clinic also has a dental van which visits remote schools throughout Humboldt County. While children are our priority, we have a very busy adult dental practice which includes behavioral health and case management services. It is also home to a competitive residency program in conjunction with New York University – Langone Dental Medicine. In addition to traditional appointments, the clinic offers weekday, evening, weekend, and same-day emergency visits. This newly renovated dental-only clinic includes 16 operatories and work areas for support staff and other clinic operations, including laboratory. Currently there are 5 dentists and 3 hygienists.
FORTUNA DENTAL CENTER: Two openings this summer (2018) Opening in July 2018 is ODCHC newest facility, Fortuna Community Health Center which will be the home of the new Fortuna Dental Center. Fortuna Dental Center will operate much like the Burre Dental Center and allows ODCHC to expand dental services to the Eel River Valley.
