ResponsibilitiesYou can provide high quality neurological patient care across Los Angeles. As the Director of Clinic Operations (DCO) for the Department of Neurology, you can leverage your leadership skills to make a positive impact on the lives of those with conditions affecting the brain and nervous system. You will be planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and controlling all administrative functions of the outpatient Department of Neurology clinics.
You will also develop and implement systems that track operational efficiency-working with the Medical Directors and the CAO to develop short and long range plans to reduce turnover, develop budgets, and improve provider satisfaction. You will have the chance to use your organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills to make a vital impact on multiple facilities providing world-class care.
QualificationsRN, MBA, MPH, or comparable existing management position Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred Management and leadership experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating overall operations of an outpatient clinic. Working knowledge of clinic billing, revenue cycles and various types of third party payers practice (PPO, POS, managed care, Medicaid, pre-authorization, pre-certification, workmen's comp etc.) preferred.
Demonstrated working knowledge of current financial systems to retrieve revenue and expense data sufficient to generate financial reports
Ability to prepare a variety of medical forms including referral forms, insurance claim forms, disability forms, correspondence, etc.
Extensive experience in medical back office setting with physicians, nurses and patients
