The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an outstanding individual as Director of Obstetric Anesthesia. The successful candidate will have a national reputation as a leader in the areas of patient care, medical education, and research, as well as exceptional administrative and organizational skills.
Applicants must be board certified or equivalent in Anesthesiology, fellowship-trained or equivalent in obstetrical anesthesia, with a solid track record of management and leadership. We prefer candidates who can demonstrate national recognition of excellence in leadership, administration, organization and program development of clinical services, research, and education in a complex academic environment. The applicant must have recognized skills in the education of Medical Students, Residents and Fellows.
