Job Summary: The Vice President of Commercial Sales provides strategic direction to the sales teams, in all locations, regarding services and tactics necessary to achieve membership and revenue goals. The VP works in conjunction with Operations, Underwriting, Compliance IS and Corporate Marketing to develop products, services and marketing campaigns that support growth and retention efforts.
This position is responsible for all aspects of the Sales efforts, including managing distribution channels as well as working closely with the VP/Director of Medicare Advantage regarding market expansion, product development, marketing and sales strategies, and the development of distribution systems that support the company's overall plan. Actively seeks business development opportunities with strategic partners to improve sales opportunities. Provides leadership in the development of new products that meet market needs and works closely with the product development team to introduce and implement these new products. The VP of Commercial Sales reports to Chief Operating Officer of Prominence.
