The Facilities Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, budgeting, scheduling, assigning, supervision, and communication of all preventative and special maintenance, repair, servicing, development, and improvement of District buildings, grounds, equipment, and related systems. This position supervises Engineering and Maintenance staff, Environmental Services, and Housing Program for the hospital. Additionally, this position coordinates the training and orienting for new employees in these areas of oversight.

High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in technical or business curriculum preferred.
Five years minimum experience in central plant operation, mechanical systems service/repair, plumbing systems service/repair, and electrical systems service/repair preferred.
Project Management experience required.
Two years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a hospital environment.
Knowledge of and ability to read and work with blueprints preferred.
Must possess a valid State of California driver's license and must supply a DMV report, post-offer pre-employment.
Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call and maintain a 20-minute response time, if required.
