Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 126-bed, private psychiatric hospital located in Orlando, FL. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT treatment services for adults.
Director of Risk Management The Director of Risk Management has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss. The Director of Risk Management is responsible for coordinating the loss control effots and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed so as to comply with guidelines and standards of The Joint Commission, AHCA, the UHS T.E.R.M. Program, and other regulatory agencies. The Chief Executive Officer supervises the administrative and day-to-day functions of the Director of Risk Management.
Essential Job Duties:
Oversees, directs and coordinates activities directly related to the Risk Management Program for the hospital
Risk Identification and Evaluation
Loss Control and Prevention
Reporting, Report Preparation and Submission
Develops and implements actions to meet financial goals, reduce costs and improve departments
Establishes and implements departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and action plans
Ensures the facility is, at all times, in compliance with licensing and regulatory agencies
Develops and implements and revises, as necessary, organizational policies and procedures related to Risk Management
