This is an exciting opportunity as we are expanding our Children’s Hospital! The Clinical Practice Nurse Leader, RN will be responsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary, unit based team to provide nursing expertise in our Pediatric ICU unit. This RN will lead quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. Collaborate in staff and patient education activities. Will act as the clinical expert for this Pediatric ICU unit as well as individual staff development and coaching. The Clinical Practice Nurse Leader will report directly to the PICU Nurse Manager and work closely with the PICU educator.
Masters Degree in Nursing required
5 years of clinical experience in area of expertise
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
Excellent collaboration and consultation skills required
Must be competent with process redesign
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
