This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer of CHRISTUS St Vincent Hospital. The Director of Materials Management will provide organization and direction for the advancement of the Materials process at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Hospital. Director of Materials responsibilities include facility specific oversight on supply management process improvements. Position includes development and maintenance of work flow assessments, quality assurance, contract implementation, data management, Materials Management policy and procedure development/ maintenance, and career development. This position will collaborate with the Financial and Nursing leadership to develop Materials strategies that meet the financial and clinical needs established by financial, operational, quality, and customer service goals while providing to CHRISTUS St Vincent Hospital periodic quantitative and qualitative metrics documenting the progress.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in multi facilities HealthCare Environment or related field
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: CMRP, preferred

Business planning skills to include cost impact analysis

EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in Materials Management preferably in a healthcare setting.
