Assist the Security Director/Manager in Security Departmental Operations. Handles emergency situations and directs other officers in the absence of departmental director/manager. Emergency Preparedness duties include: (Back Up to Security Department Manager) Incident Command, Drill Planning and Implementation, and Liaison to Police and Fire. Department Training Officer: training of new staff and maintains the high level of training in the department according to department policy
Must obtain ASP & OC Certification
High school diploma or GED
2 years minimum Security
1 year Supervisory Healthcare Security preferred
IAHSS Basic Certification
IAHSS Advanced, Safety, & Supervisor certification must be obtained
