VUMC Child Care offers early childhood care and education for the children of VUMC faculty, staff, and students. The child care program serves children age infants (6 weeks) to five years old. Our centers are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
Responsible for overseeing childcare personnel, which includes teachers, early childhood associates and administrative support
Overseeing childcare operations including licensing, quality assurance, facility operations and educational excellence.
Maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Prioritizing and organizing daily childcare center activities for maximum effectiveness.
Ensuring staff schedules are created efficiently to achieve the appropriate coverage of center operations.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience
Child care center based experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to be flexible to center's needs and hours
