We are currently seeking a Manager Imaging Services to provide leadership, technical support and ensure regulatory compliance within the department for assigned imaging modalities.
The Manager of Imaging Services ensures staffing coverage, collaborates with radiologists, physicians, staff and other managers on a daily basis to ensure safe patient care and patient access to clinical services. This position is part of the Enterprise Imaging Management Team and will work closely with and take direction from other department managers to ensure efficient operations of the department. You will be responsible for the completion of staff orientation, safety and procedural training which includes staff educational development and student training. The Clinical Manager assists with budget and equipment planning as well as coordinates the maintenance of all Imaging and Support equipment utilized within the Imaging Department. Additionally, the Manager will participate in a management on-call rotation providing 24-hour support to the department.
The qualified professional will have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, operations or a business-related field (a BS in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred), along with at least three years of management and/or supervisory experience in diagnostic imaging department at an acute care hospital or hospital system. Must have current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate or other national Imaging Registry such as ARDMS, a demonstrated knowledge in TJC, CMS, MQSA, ACR and FDA regulatory requirements, super user system knowledge for RIS/PACS, and experience with other software that supports the hospital and the Imaging Department. Also requires experience leading teams and/or projects such as implementing new technology and process improvements, as well as physician, employee relations and analytical skills, including basic principles of finance and statistics. Basic knowledge of medical insurance, CPT codes, revenue cycle, ICD-9, ABN's, authorizations and referrals is needed, as is a valid CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
