The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator implements, coordinates and evaluates all clinical pharmacy services of the department, ensuring the competency, compliance and professional development of staff. The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacist team activities, including training and education as well as assessment and attainment of productivity metrics. All activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient of paramount importance.
Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy program; PharmD required.
Satisfactory completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency in a comparable health care setting preferred
Minimum of two year's experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting required. Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred.
RPh license in the State of Texas
Pharmacy preceptor certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
