The WIC Program Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) III acts as a clinic contact and performs those client services required for certification in the state WIC Program and assists clinets with additional needed social services.
Graduation as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from an accredited institution
A minimum of three years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the areas of maternal and Child health is required
Previous WIC experience preferred but not required
A minimum of three hours of advanced nutrition education is required.
Must possess a current valid LVN license and be eligible to practice in the state of Texas.
Must possess a current Class A driver's license and valid insurance.
