The Department of Radiology in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a board certified/eligible radiologist with fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging. This faculty member will provide clinical services at University Health System along with other practice plan facilities and partner hospitals. Our hospitals are regional referral centers for trauma, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, and organ transplantation.
Candidate must have a medical degree, be Board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging, hold a Texas state medical license or be eligible for a Texas Medical license prior to start date. Applicant should be competent in all aspects of abdominal imaging and be able to perform all modalities of abdominal imaging including diagnostic fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Duties include teaching medical students, interns and residents along with supervising fellows; participating in lectures and teaching conferences; providing clinical care to patients and additional duties as assigned.
