Serves as a Vice President of Operations for THSC, responsible for operational oversight and performance of all senior services provided in an assigned regional area. Integrates the management of quality, human resources, and related management systems, and aligns them into an operating region. Maintains a streamlined organizational structure and appropriate management systems to support the integrated region.
General responsibilities will include:
Builds a regional management team and organization that successfully achieves defined mission, strategic and business objectives; ensures an effective participative management climate with special emphasis on selection and development of committed culturally diverse leaders, and ongoing mentoring for direct reports.
Leads achievement of targeted quality, operating, and financial performance, census mix, quality outcomes and service delivery.
Develops processes to effectively communicate and socialize THSC and regional growth plans and budgets across the region.
In collaboration with regional peers and THSC home office leaders, develops and maintains effective financial and quality management and control systems and metrics to achieve required targeted performance.
Works with direct reports to develop corrective strategies when plans are not being met. Is responsible for meeting goals plans and targets of THSC.
Creates regional annual work plans including operating and capital budgets that reflect THSC's strategic growth plan; achieves results through persistent execution
Is responsible for THSC's clinical and quality integration into the region. Works with leadership in each site to ensure that integration plans are established and implemented.
Candidates will have:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, or a related field with a Master's Degree preferred.
A minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in continuing care with a combination of the following proven experience:
Proven experience in leading the successful start-up or repositioning of a core service line preferred
Experience leading a successful financial turnaround preferred
Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
The ability to bring diverse constituencies together for the purposes of strategizing, problem solving, and developing action plans which are carried forth in an expeditious manner.
Travel required in the geographic region.
