This position oversees implementation and effectively organizes the provision of care in the Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC), consistent with the mission of Memorial Health System and Saddleback Medical Center.
The employee assists with the preparation of the strategic business plan for the department, development of financial goals, and the plan for delivery of excellent clinical care in a safe and healing environment.
The employee supports management in achieving a high quality program, for both clinical outcomes and customer service in an efficient and fiscally prudent manner.
The AIC Manager is knowledgeable of the latest clinical trends, regulatory requirements and reimbursement patterns for their program.
This position requires involvement with multiple hospital departments and members of SMC medical staff.
Master of science in nursing (MSN) with NP - required
ONS chemotherapy certification - required
OCN preferred; required after 12 months of employment
Current State of California RN license
Minimum five (5) years of experience in oncology
Experience in providing chemotherapy infusion services required
Experience in nursing management preferred
Demonstrates good presentation and clarity in communication
Above average skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
