Responsible for accurately stocking and distributing all hospital supplies and floor stock. Responsible for keying and updating Materials Management Inventory System at designated times for required maintenance and pick list generation. Accurately completes all necessary paperwork daily. Operates a hand-held computer terminal and performs inventory cycle counts daily. Performs daily assessment of inventory balances, floor stock, and medical supplies. Checks and processes monthly and used crash carts. Responsible for checking and maintaining all specialty carts which includes, Disaster Carts, Isolation Carts, Hazardous Carts, GU Carts, Special Procedure Carts, Neuro Carts, Hypothermia Carts, and any other cart as assigned by department Manager/Director.
High school diploma preferred or equivalent
One (1) year experience working with supplies in a distribution area is preferred. Knowledge of medical supplies strongly preferred. Medical or industry experience with inventory system management preferred.
