Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is accepting applications for one post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology for the 2018-2019 training year. The position provides the opportunity for enhancement of the fellowâ€™s clinical, supervisory, and administrative skills. The fellowship carries a competitive stipend of $40,000.00. The start date for the positions is August of 2018.
The post-doctoral fellow will be actively involved in the supervision of pre-doctoral practicum students, as well as in program development and administration. In addition, the fellow will engage in direct delivery of psychotherapy and diagnostic services across the continuum of care, including outpatient services. The post-doctoral fellow will work directly with patients who are Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) wards of the state.Â The post-doctoral fellow will also provide outpatient services at one of the affiliated outpatient clinics.
