Practices the prescribed philosophy, purpose, standards and policies of the ANA and AWHONN Nursing Standards and Jefferson Healthcare. Provides leadership and management to maintain, develop and enhance operational performance, quality of service and delivery of care for assigned areas of accountability. Promotes continuity of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. Must be capable of functioning as a member of the core team in order to mentor, educate, and oversee care teams. Delegates and oversees the delivery of patient care by the nursing staff and support nursing staff.
Current Washington State RN license in good standing
Current BLS, NRP and ACLS required
Current advanced fetal monitoring certification and every two year
BSN required; MSN preferred
Progressive leadership/supervisory experience of 3 years or greater
