POSITION SUMMARY: Â The Communication Specialist functions under the supervision of the Northwest Transfer and Communication Center Director. The Specialist is responsible for a multibase air medical transport operation. The Specialist activates, flight follows, collects, interprets disseminates critical aviation and clinical information.Â Â The Specialist also facilitates a â€œone callâ€� transfer line that will coordinate arrangements to support the transfer of patients from regional hospitals to NWTHS in accordance with EMTALA regulations. The Communication Specialist maintains an organizational culture of service excellence and the practice of service excellence standards to all customer groups.
