The Corporate Adverting Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Internet Writer.
The Senior Internet Writer plans, conceptualizes and develops written content for facility and corporate websites, as well as other digital media. Collaborates with others in the department, within the company and at the facilities to ensure that written content is integrated with other marketing vehicles and follows best practices. Ensures that all digital marketing vehicles meet project objectives, brand standards and adhere to recognized best practices. Demonstrates familiarity with principles of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and works to ensure that website content meets established best practices for optimal SEO effectiveness. Works with facility marketing directors and with others in the department to build, maintain and update content on websites. Ensures that all projects are completed according to schedule.
Key Responsibilities include:
Writes and coordinates website content for a number of acute care hospital and other websites, based on input from the hospital marketing directors and the Manager â€" Digital Content.
Revises and updates hospital websites on a consistent basis, based on contact with hospital marketing directors, and interaction with other members of the advertising department and Internet Team.
Collaborates with Senior Web Designer, Senior Web Content Developer, Web Designer/Developer and other Internet Writers to coordinate completion and maintenance of websites.
Works with hospital marketing directors and other members of Advertising Department to integrate websites with other marketing activities.
Coordinates with Senior Web Content Developer to ensure that written Web content adheres to current best practices for Search Engine Optimization.
Helps create new project specifications and manages project implementation and completion.
