Duties include all maintenance and filing of personnel files, credentialing, new hire paperwork processing, and assisting the HR Department. Basic HR knowledge preferred.
Assists the Human Resource Director/Generalist with all projects and assignments as needed. Responsible for the data entry of employee information in the Lawson system. Monitors and tracks all position openings within PCS and reports to the HRD on a regular basis. Transfers terminated staff files to the appropriate file after termination date. Prepares new hire paperwork and files on all employees. Files all paperwork in appropriate files in a timely manner. Maintains all HR files current for all active and terminated staff. Works with the proper agencies concerning initial and annual background checks to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner and according to policy for all staff. Creates individual change forms for employees for all personnel actions. Verifies all professional licenses, and maintains a licensure tracking system. Assists in planning and carrying out all staff activities sponsored by HR. Maintains composure during stressful interactions. Assist HR during New Hire Orientation.
