Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings.
High school diploma or GED preferred
American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Crisis Prevention Training within 90 days of employment and anually therafter
