LeadingAge PA, a statewide Association representing nonprofit senior services providers, is seeking a hardworking, creative individual to provide leadership and management of day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not be limited to:
Lead a high performance team of professionals in the areas of Operations, Sales and Marketing, Information Technology, Membership Recruitment and Retention, Training, and Education and Research
In conjunction with the CEO and Senior Management team, develop, implement, and achieve annual goals and strategies, including development and execution of the operational work plan
Provide day-to-day leadership and management of Association operations
Establish operating policies that promote organizational culture and vision
Actively seek out and plan for growth of new and existing services
Responsible for development and execution of the Association’s annual conference
Organizational development of staff
Lead the employee relations function, including, but not limited to: employment efforts, employee relations and documentation, performance appraisals and job descriptions
Lead various committees and task force meeting efforts throughout the year
Responsible for maintaining ongoing member interaction, including but not limited to technical assistance, resources to members, assessing member perception and value of the Association
Manage relationships with sponsors/vendors.
Oversight of the Association’s IT operations and the development of technology strategies
Assists the CEO with fundraising ventures
We desire a technology savvy individual with previous experience in an equivalent position and general knowledge of Association management. Proficient verbal and report-writing skills and knowledge of accounting software and CRM applications preferred. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, public relations or related field is required; advanced degree is preferred.
Candidates must have the ability to travel occasionally, which may include overnight stays. Competitive salary and full benefits package provided, including health insurance and pension plan.
