The Department of Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University is a nationally prominent academic department offering bachelor and master degree options in 10 imaging and radiation science programs. Programs vary in length, and dual-concentration options are available. The Department provides excellence and leadership in all aspects of medical imaging and radiation sciences through teaching, research, and providing exemplary clinical practice education in the broad field of medical imaging and radiation sciences. State of the art equipment is available for training students and faculty research.
The mission of the department is to provide a comprehensive education, preparing students for entry-level practice in radiologic and imaging sciences as competent, caring members of the health care team, cultivating professionalism and life-long learning. Jefferson is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and all programs in the Department are accredited by respective accreditation bodies.
Applicant should be a national leader in medical imaging and radiation sciences, and hold an earned doctorate from an accredited college or university. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice, administration, or supervision. The applicant must be credentialed in one of the specialty areas offered in the department.
Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.
