Performs a wide variety of maintenance duties in and around the buildings of the Medical Center complex. Occasionally assists tradesmen and other workmen in completing tasks. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment safely and effectively. Assists in removing snow from facility's grounds and maintains grounds as required.
High School Diploma or GED and two years of trade school-four years apprenticeship in trade or eight years of total experience in a similar sized healthcare institution in engineering discipline. Ability to read, comprehends, and transmits complicated detailed instructions in writing and oral. Good physical condition and general understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
