The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Elim Park is responsible for the strategic vision and operational excellence of the organization. He/she will provide leadership to assure the long- term viability and sustainability of the organization and its mission for residents and staff. The CEO will be a faith-based, passionate leader who is grounded in the community and proud of Elim Park’s strong faith heritage.
The CEO will continue to position Elim Park as a leader and innovator in the field of care for elders. The new CEO will also be viewed as a leader within the region and nationally as a leader in the field of senior services. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors of Elim Park. Direct reports to the CEO include the Chief Finance Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Administrator of Health Services, Administrator of Independent Living, Director of Human Resources and Multi Services General Manager.
Elim Park is a not-for-profit community providing a constellation of services whose mission is to provide quality care through wellness program and medical facilities for our residents in a Christ-centered environment. Elim Park looks upon its mission as an extension of the church ministry within the Converge Worldwide/Baptist General Conference (BGC) and gives admission priority to its members.
As a not-for-profit community, all revenues received by Elim Park are used to care for its residents. Members of Elim Park’s Board of Directors serve without pay. They are not stockholders or owners who receive funds from Elim Park. Elim Park’s total commitment is their residents and staff. The nature of Elim Park’s activities is to be conducted for the purpose of operating and maintaining a Christian home with necessary medical facilities and personnel for the care of the elderly and to engage in public worship.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine and unwavering commitment to living Elim Park’s Christ-centered mission to caring for elders in a Christian Environment, as well as a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in leadership of a senior living, healthcare, faith-based or social service organization. A graduate degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
