Sanford Women’s is seeking one full-time and one PRN CNM to join our group of 7 CNMs.
-The CNM schedule includes a combination of Clinic and in-house call for Labor and Delivery Triage
-Weekly schedule varies including 12 or 24-hour Labor and Delivery Triage shifts and 2-3 days in the clinic
- Will work closely with our OB/GYN generalists
-The CNM must have knowledge of medical principles for patients and possess the ability to assess data that reflects the patient’s status
-Appropriately interprets the information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs and provides the care needed
-When students are providing patient care, treatment, and/or services as a part of their training, any/all employees may be asked to supervise the students.

Required Skills: The CNM has successfully completed a formal nurse midwife program of study beyond the RN role. Those who obtained APRN licensure prior to 2000 will be grandfathered in (formerly the ACNM Certification Council). Is currently licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife in SD. Have achieved and will maintain certification by an ACNM designated Board (ie: The American Midwifery Certification Board).
