Administer audiology program; Conduct comprehensive and periodic audiological assessments for students and create written assessment reports; Maintain & fit hearing aids and ear molds; Cochlear implant maintenance; Manage FM systems; Provide audiological evaluations as part of clinic evaluation program and establish an effective referral system between ISDB and the medical community/Idaho School Districts with an Open Clinic; Monitor and conduct/administer auditory training; Maintain records of audiology program; Conduct in-service workshops; Maintain and keep inventory of all auditory equipment and supplies; travel periodically to conduct clinics and trainings within outreach programs; Other duties as assigned.

Our vision for each of the children we serve is Education, Communication and Independence for Life! The IESDB will serve all qualifying residents of Idaho from birth to age 21.
...On one end of this spectrum are the programs and services offered by the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind, on its campus located in Gooding, Idaho. The school is accredited through Advanced-ED and has a specialized curriculum established for students with hearing and vision loss. Students who wish to attend must be referred by their local district (LEA) and placed by their IEP or 504 teams for free and appropriate educational services in residential or day school programs on the campus.
On the other end of the spectrum are our statewide Outreach Programs. Working from seven regional Education Centers, these programs provide a positive environment where families and professionals work together and network with other families and agencies to achieve aspirations for their children. Throughout the school year and summer season, various educational workshops, community activities and events are offered for our families, friends, and professionals across Idaho.
