This position integrates as part of the CHRISTUS Health Process Improvement Department. Working as a partner with the other System Directors, this individual has direct accountability to identify, design and implement improvement methodologies grounded in Lean and Six Sigma principles for the development of high performance Non-clinical and Clinical workflow at both the System and Regional level. Develops project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required. Provides process improvement leadership and knowledge of workflow and core processes of care as directed by the CHRISTUS Health Executive Vice President for Process Improvement. Responsible for training and educating Staff in the system to work in high performance work groups. Motivates team members and cultivates team accountability. Accountable for providing project documentation for the Executive Vice President, Regional CEOs, and System Executives. Directs Kaizen events as needed with a thorough follow up analysis. Promotes performance management by utilizing Management by Fact (MBF) methodology. This individual is responsible for assisting corporate staff with structuring analyses of operations to help determine specific opportunities for process improvement. The System Director works with the Process Improvement Team to plan, organize, monitor and improve cost, quality and service performance within CHRISTUS Health and the various regions. The System Director works directly with the Executive Vice President for Process Improvement and other department leaders to define, develop, implement and measure/evaluate performance improvement opportunities and process improvements.
